Located at 250 North City Drive, San Marcos, CA, we’re a unique spot where you can craft your own healthy bowl, burrito, or enjoy one of our signature toasts with flavors that have you coming back for more! From Greek and Mexican to Peruvian, Cuban, and Korean influences, our menu blends these global inspirations to create fresh, vibrant meals for every taste.
Our Roots: A Personal Journey to Healthier Living
Our journey began at home in 2005, around the kitchen table. Our mom filled every meal with love and tradition. As we grew older, we realized those meals didn’t always align with the healthy lifestyle we wanted. After our mother’s battle with cancer and the loss of our father, we knew it was time for change. We embraced health-focused eating, and now we’re sharing that journey—honoring our roots and helping others thrive, one meal at a time.
From Food Truck to Brick-and-Mortar
We started with a food truck in 2016 under a different concept. In 2018, we opened our first restaurant in Escondido, always keeping healthy options in mind. After losing both of our parents within a short time, we shifted our focus. In 2024, we embraced a holistic, whole-food approach and launched A Lo Fresco—first as a food truck, then as our first brick-and-mortar in San Marcos. A Lo Fresco honors our journey and commitment to better living.
